Alison Dyer-Fagundo is a Partner and a member of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. She practices within the area of company law and her practice includes advising on private and public offerings, merger and acquisition matters, advising on structuring and capitalisation of private telecommunications holding and operating companies.
Alison graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario with a BA in political science in 1996. She subsequently obtained an LLB from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 1998 and completed the Legal Practice Course with Commendation at the BPP Law School in London, England in 1999.
Alison was called to the Bermuda Bar in August 2000 after she completed her pupillage.
Representative Work
Some examples of recent transactions on which Alison has worked include:
• Advising in relation to transactions undertaken by publicly traded telecommunications companies, including Global Crossing,
• The establishment of operation in Bermuda of holding and investment companies including financing and offering of debt and equity
• A financing for a widely held European based Telecoms company
